Golf
Our Bunker Hill-designed course is a par 72, links-feel course totaling 6,707 yards. Voted #8 Best New Golf Course 2020 by Golf Digest, the course winds through 125 acres of ridges and meadows, featuring over 280 feet of elevation change with spectacular views of the Chattahoochee and Cherokee Nation Forests and surrounding valleys.
Fly Fishing
At Old Toccoa Farm Resort, life takes its cue from the gently flowing Toccoa River, where more than 4,300 feet of river frontage invite days spent casting, wading, and paddling along its quiet bends. Our sustainably managed trout fishery winds through a 100-foot-wide stretch of riffles, rapids, and shaded pools—waters long treasured for their healthy population of native brown and rainbow trout.
For those looking to refine their cast or simply enjoy a day on the water, lessons, classes, and guided experiences can be arranged. Guests may also find solitude and rhythm in the simple therapy of fishing independently along the river’s edge.
We are proud to offer expanded access through our exclusive partner, Toccoa River Outfitters. Guests staying on property have the opportunity to book directly with them, unlocking private access to additional stretches of the Toccoa River for a more secluded and elevated fly fishing experience.
Beyond our waters, the region opens into more than 700 miles of fishable trout streams within an hour of Old Toccoa Farm, including select private waters accessible to members—each offering its own quiet corner of North Georgia’s fly fishing heritage.
Kayak And Paddleboarding
Slip out in the morning mist for a gentle paddle to a downstream takeout, passing under trestles, bridges and stands of hardwood. Arrange to be put in below the dam and ride an afternoon release back to the property by kayak or paddleboard. With a variety of routes and releases, the experience is unique every time one takes to the water.
Yoga by the River
Wellness is woven into the rhythm of life at Old Toccoa Farm Resort. Along a quiet stretch near the Toccoa River, mornings unfold slowly—marked by fresh air, open sky, and the gentle sound of moving water.
Led by Noga Yoga, these all-levels vinyasa sessions offer a grounded, outdoor practice designed to meet you wherever you are. Set just beyond the course, the riverside lawn provides a natural sense of calm—inviting presence, breath, and movement in equal measure.
Offered seasonally from May through October, classes create a simple pause in the week to reset and reconnect.
RESERVE YOUR HOME
The land at Old Toccoa Farm is perfectly suited for residential home construction. Homesites generally range from one-half to three-quarters of an acre (many back up to additional greenspace) and are sited to maximize view orientation.
