107th GSGA Championship

9:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Old Toccoa Farm is honored to host the 107th Georgia State Golf Association Match Play Championship, one of the longest-running and most prestigious amateur golf championships in the state of Georgia. Founded over a century ago, originally as the Atlanta Amateur Championship in 1914, this historic event has crowned many distinguished champions, including players who went on to succeed at the highest levels of competitive golf and members of the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame.

Match play delivers drama in its purest form. Every hole is its own contest. Momentum can shift in a single swing. Strategy, composure, and clutch shot-making define the path forward as competitors battle head-to-head across our course.

Members are warmly invited to watch the matches, and experience championship-level golf up close throughout the week. It is a special opportunity to witness some of Georgia’s top amateur talent competing for one of the state’s most coveted titles, right here at Old Toccoa Farm.

The 2026 championship features a field of 64 of Georgia’s finest amateur golfers, each earning their place through qualifying sites or exemptions into the championship field.

Competition begins with three rounds of pod play, where players compete in round-robin match play within their assigned groups. The top performer from each pod advances to a 16-player single-elimination bracket, heightening the intensity as the championship moves toward its decisive rounds.
